It's right . . . sort of. I took a safety engineering grad class at SDSU in 1987 taught by an OSHA inspector. I applied for and got an OSHA inspection exemption from OSHA. As I remember, normally, a grinder is required to have a tool rest set less than 1/4" from wheel, a plastic face shield, and a written policy of required safety glasses use.
